They are also a good choice for current and future owners of Hyundai vehicles with high power Level 2 onboard charging capability (for example, the Ioniq 5’s 10.9kW Level 2 charging capacity), who can only fit a breaker rated at 40A or less in their electrical panel.

NOTE: Installation of a home charger up to 8kW typically requires a 40A breaker to be installed in your electrical panel to achieve full power. Use of a smaller breaker is possible with some chargers but it will require a power limiting setting to be activated in the charging station.
